Overview
The University at Buffalo is a 4-year research institution offering more than 140 undergraduate degree programs. UB is the largest university in the State University of New York system by enrollment, but maintains a student-faculty ratio of 12:1 throughout its 13 schools and colleges. As one of 65 members of the Association of American Universities (AAU), University at Buffalo spends more than $544 million research annually and offers experiential learning, internships, and research opportunities to students at all levels. With three campuses in Western New York, UB has a strong regional presence and strives to benefit the surrounding communities. Outside of academia, the University at Buffalo offers more than 500 student clubs and organizations, Division I athletics and a large Center for the Arts where students can enjoy performances year round.
