How the Air National Guard Helps With College

The U.S. Air National Guard (ANG) is a part-time military service program that helps college students offset the cost of their education while serving their country.

Depending on your state and your duty status, ANG members may qualify for state tuition assistance and in-state tuition rates, plus federal education benefits like the GI Bill and Air Force Tuition Assistance.

The ANG can also help you stack credentials through programs like the Community College of the Air Force Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (AF COOL). If becoming an officer is your goal, Air Force ROTC is a path to commissioning while earning your degree.
