Chapman University
Chapman University is a private, liberal arts institution in Orange, California, that offers 110 areas of study through 11 schools and colleges. Chapman is also home to several independent research centers, as well as creative research centers, including the John Fowles Center for Creative Writing. The Center for Global Education offers a 90 study abroad programs, including single courses that last 1 to 4 weeks up to an entire year spent overseas. Outside of academia, students can take advantage of the 190 academic, professional, and special interest clubs on campus, as well as the 21 intercollegiate athletic teams. Downtown Orange is less than 15 minutes by foot and there are a number of nearby attractions, including beaches, mountains, sporting venues, and Disneyland.
