Outside of the classroom, Auburn is home to the Auburn University Student Space Program, a solar car racing team, and a flying team. For sports fans, Auburn fields 16 men’s and women’s athletic teams and its nationally ranked football squad takes the gridiron to the battle cry of “War Eagle!”
