Formed by the merger of Thomas Jefferson and Philadelphia Universities, Jefferson University is a health science and education-centered institution dedicated to preparing students for 21st century professions. Jefferson is home to 13 colleges and schools centered around an interprofessional education model where faculty members from different departments work together. Jefferson also confers the first International Medical degree which enables graduates to practice medicine in both the United States and Europe.
