Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

I like Saint Xavier because the classes are smaller and it is easy access to get in touch with the teacher. They help you if you have questions and it is more intimate where you can get that one on one needed sometimes.
Victoria from University Park, IL
Since I have started attending Saint Xavier I have been exposed to new ways of thinking. The professors challenge you to be the best student you can be. For example, I took a philosophy class and the professor was always excited about each discussion that we had. I learned various philosophical points of views that made me evaluate my philosophical views.
Camille from Dolton, IL
Everyone here including students, teachers, and staff are so nice and helpful. Saint Xavier University also provides its students with a pleasant and learning atmosphere. Finally, it's a small school with small classes, and a lot more attention is given to each student.
