Founded in 1881, Marquette University is a Jesuit Catholic institution in Milwaukee. Marquette is home to 11 colleges and schools conferring undergraduate and graduate degrees. The university is also home to a number of academic centers and institutes, including the Les Aspin Center for Government, the Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute.
