Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. While Fayetteville State is a great school. With its vast number of programs and clubs offered there is always something to do. Although this school is a HBCU there is still some diversity with the students, the food, and the classes.
Taylah from Hope Mills, NC
I am learning a lot here at FSU. There are many great opportunities and the teachers care. There are many different programs in which I participate in that allows me get extra help that I need in my classes. my favorite one is the writing center. The writing center allows students to have a tutor critique their writing assignment and get better grades in their classes.
Alicia from Charlotte, NC

Jacqueline from Durham, NC
Fayetteville State University is a good college which has assisted me in growing academically and socially. The faculty are caring and the study body is very helpful as well. Thus far my experience is great and I would recommend this school to my younger friends.
