The teachers here so far are high-quality. They care about whether or not you learn what they are teaching you, and they are always willing to answer your questions and meet with you if you are having difficulties. Each has a different teaching style, so you may not get along 100% with everyone. However, in the end, I promise that you will learn at least something from every class.

Duquesne University is a very prestigious school that has an entire melting pot of students. You will find an interesting mix of people from all different races, religions, and ethnicities. Also, teachers are absolutely great. I am going to be a sophomore and I must say that the teachers I met in my freshman year were exceptional. I am a psychology major and I feel like I had a great relationship with my psych teachers. One teacher offered me advice and told me that I could use her as a reference anytime. I feel that the professors at Duquesne actually care about their students and are not solely there for a paycheck.

Learning is very easy here, the teachers use many methods from group work to recitation sessions and having tutors available for everyone. Teachers are very approachable and easy to communicate with; via e-mail, office hours and many teachers give a phone number as well. Also, many subjects have numerous Teaching Assistants and some even have Undergraduate Assistants that make it even easier to learn the material for courses.

As a Freshman student at Duquesne University, I have learned so much during my first semester. I have taken courses in philosophy, English, and science. I learned something new in all of these course and each new idea expanded on the stuff I already knew.

the size of the classes is about the same as in high school, so it is easier to get to know professors. all the professors i have had are very helpful for students to be as successful as they can potentially be.

Duquesne University is a mid-size campus with all buildings within walking distance from the dorms. The learning community (with approximately 10,000 students) is extraordinary with teachers willing to help you in any way possible in order to earn that A. Paid tutors are available for students which shows that the university does care about your success. Teachers are willing to work with you over conflicts that may arise and offer lots of opportunities to hear and help with any questions you may have. Duquesne also brings in a lot of guest speakers, which can be listened to free of charge. One that was brought in last year was Eric Holden Jr., Attorney General of the United States! I have learned so much, and I know that if you go there, you will too! : )

Duquesne University has SO much to offer for students of any age and status in school. Starting out with the basic courses you gain an even stronger knowledge in areas such as Mathematics, Theology, and Philosophy, which will most definitely help you as you advance into upper class courses. The professors at this school are absolutely incredible and want nothing more than to see you learn as much as you possibly can while enrolled. There is a lot of work involved regardless of what degree you pursue, but that's the whole point of attending school, to gain knowledge!

Duquesne is a beautiful and small campus. You can walk the entire length of the campus in under 20 minutes. Class sizes are small and professors are very willing to help a struggling student.

Duquesne University is the ideal foundation for a fruitufl future. Duquesne offers rigorous academics, extracurricular activities, friendly staff, and the feel of a larger University. Duquesne University is the perfect fit for those looking for an enjoyable college experience.

Duquesne University is the most challenging and amazing school I can imagine. It is everything I expected before coming into college. The social and academic life are both surreal.
