Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

Professors are knowledgeable and approachable.
Royale from Memphis, TN
My classes are small, meaning that if I have a question in class, my teacher will be able to answer it for me. Also, your teachers WILL know your name, unlike bigger schools with 200 students in a lecture hall. The work load is of medium difficulty, but it is nothing a little studying cannot fix.
Raeshuna from Memphis, TN
Is a very small campus. Everyone knows you because is a small campus. Is more like a family and your professors are there for you when you need them.
Kristina from Memphis, TN
Christian Brothers is a small school that heavily focuses on student and professor relationships. It is great school for commuters and has decent on-campus living. The Engineering and Business departments are some of the best anywhere.
Caitlin from Stanton, TN
Overall, CBU is a very diverse place with so many experiences that will help you become the person that you wish to be. There are so many opportunities to take part in, and groups to be apart of that will definitely help you with your degree! This is one college that once you take a step on the campus, you will know it's for you!
April from Memphis, TN

The professors and courses here are definitely challenging, but for the better. The classes are almost always interesting and will probably have you coming back for more.
