Overview
The United States Air Force Academy is a military training institution in central Colorado and the youngest of five American service academies. USAFA confers bachelor’s degrees in 31 academic majors and all students are expected to complete a core curriculum of classes covering an array of subjects. Outside of the classroom, USAFA oversees military training and airmanship programs. For all cadets, the Air Force covers costs for tuition, room, and board and also provides a monthly stipend in exchange for a military service commitment after graduation.
