Students at BHCC have the opportunity to enroll in the Self-Directed Learning program, which allows them to work at their own pace without attending classes by visiting the Center for Self-Directed Learning for a set of required weekly hours. The college also offers Learning Community Clusters, which involve students taking two or more courses that have been pre-determined to coincide, so students can work together with familiar peers and faculty in an interdisciplinary setting.
