Overview
Originally founded as the Girls Industrial College, Texas Woman's University is a school primarily for women in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and the largest such university in the United States. Although TWU is designed for women, the university is co-educational and has been admitting men since 1972. Texas Woman’s University is home to five colleges offering undergrad degrees. Every spring, TWU sponsors excursions to college nights at Texas Rangers and Houston Astros games.

If you introduce yourself to them and show genuine interest in passing their class, they will keep their eye on you and be very helpful. This school has a personal goal to make sure that every man and woman that attends knows of the struggles woman went through in the past and the subliminal messages that keep them beautifully ignorant today. This school is serious about what it stands for and the education its students will receive. You will be surrounded by educational stimuli everyday. There is no way you can attend Texas Woman’s University without learning something that may change the way you see life forever.
