Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. While at Snow College I learned so much! All the professors were willing to help me outside of class and had an environment inside of class set up in a way where students weren't afraid to speak up. Not only did I learn a lot about math, English, film, education, and other such subjects, I also learned a lot about myself. Snow has activities going on almost every weekend and interacting with other students was a great way to learn.
Sorine from Grantsville, UT
Snow is a great junior college, especially if you like a small campus and a small town vibe. The professors and advisors are friendly, a great help, and usually easily accessed. Also, there may not be much to do, but the things available are enjoyable.
Ambrilee from Arimo, ID
Most students live in some kind of dorm. I lived in a sleep/study dorm, which worked great for me. The showers were shared with the rooms on my floor (all female) never had to wait to shower. The kitchen and laundry were shared by everyone in the building. Free laundry, parking, and internet. Internet was faster in my building than most other buildings. I also had a TV in my room. And one of the only buildings with air conditioning. They allow emotional support animals in my building. The light in the hall and by the front door was always on. I constantly had a light shining through my window, to avoid this, choose an odd number room. Great RAs! The closest building on campus was the library. Close to the business building. I lived in Anderson Hall. I hope this was helpful.
Raquel - Smithfield, UT
Snow is so great! The class sizes are small which makes it easy to receive personal help from professors. It is very affordable as well.

Snow College is a fantastic school to start your college path. I love the small classes and campus. I Would recommend this school to anyone getting ready to attend college.
Amanda from North Logan, UT
A quality education that is affordable and fun.
You basically live in a neighborhood of 4,000 kids who are all your age and want to be your friend.
As a freshman, I get to do things that at bigger institutions I would have to wait till I was a junior or a senior.
Alison from Cedar Hills, UT
Snow gives ample opportunities to learn. The class sizes are small and therefore students learn a lot more. The teachers tailor the classes to their students instead of making them so general. At Snow it feels as if the employees are teachers, not just professors. Teachers care about their students. I love that each teacher I have takes time for me. They learn my name and want to see me succeed. They are very willing to help students outside of class and each class I don't only learn about the subject but I also learn about life. Snow is a great place to learn about yourself as well as other things pertaining to school.
Brie from Highland, UT
Well I am learning a lot every time I go to class. There is so much that I need to still learn. But one thing that will help me is my Communications 2110 class that will help me to better communicate with family, friends, co-workers, and other acquaintances.
Trenton from Salina, UT
I actually didn't go to the Snow College of Ephraim. I went to Snow College Richfield. My field of study was drafting and the Ephraim campus didn't have it, but the Richfield campus did. I did learn a lot, our professors were very professional and hands on.
Chay from UT
Snow College is a great quality school! If you're looking for a small, intimate school that still gives you a highly academic classroom setting, then Snow is definitely the place for you. The teachers can get to know you as a person, the extracurricular activities are endless, and job opportunities are everywhere.
