Review of Snow College

Describe the dorm life at your college.

Most students live in some kind of dorm. I lived in a sleep/study dorm, which worked great for me. The showers were shared with the rooms on my floor (all female) never had to wait to shower. The kitchen and laundry were shared by everyone in the building. Free laundry, parking, and internet. Internet was faster in my building than most other buildings. I also had a TV in my room. And one of the only buildings with air conditioning. They allow emotional support animals in my building. The light in the hall and by the front door was always on. I constantly had a light shining through my window, to avoid this, choose an odd number room. Great RAs! The closest building on campus was the library. Close to the business building. I lived in Anderson Hall. I hope this was helpful.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

I was studying biology and the classes for this subject seem to be known for being very rigorous. Don’t be afraid though, the professors have a small enough class to know everyone’s name and really care about students passing the class. I had a friend who was failing once and the professor contacted him and he helped him figure out what he could do to pass, and he did! Pay attention to office hours, because using those really help. The material was explained very carefully and the tests were always exactly what the professor said it was going to be. My classes were hard and I studied a lot, but I also really enjoyed them.
