REVIEWS
Read What Students Are SayingMost universities/colleges don't allow students to get started on their majors until Sophomore or Junior year of college. As a Freshman at UOP I've already gotten a feel for what I will be doing as a sports medicine or Athletic Training major. Four weeks into classes and I've already learned how to tape ankles, wrists, and arches. I've also learned how to fit helmets, how to handle a person with a seizure, etc. Being a freshman at UOP, I've already been exposed to my major and can decide early on what I want and don't want to study in school. Many students have already decided that Athletic Training isn't for them because of this exposure.
Hayley from San Jose, CA
The environment at UOP is great and exciting. The class sizes are a huge advantage to the learning ability compared to other colleges. With the smaller class sizes the students can concentrate more and have a closer relationship with the professors that they come into contact with.
Viet from Stockton, CA
university of the pacific is a top tier education school relating to sciences in particular. it is an academically challenging school and provides a lot of student support for every student there. it also is a very close community and small campus.
long from sacramento, ca
A beautiful campus with a great selection of pathways. The people there are very helpful and are excited to tell you everything you want to know about UOP. Even though it is pricey, from very graduate I have heard that it is totally worth every penny.
Evan from Tracy, CA
The University is overall a great scholarly environment. The campus is beautiful and always clean. The professors are approachable and well versed in their various subjects.
Cara from Stockton, CA
This campus is very beautiful. Everyone there is super friendly and does their best to help out. I would give it an A+.

Here at Pacific, the class sizes are very small, so all your teachers know your name and know if you aren't in class. This also provides a great learning environment because teachers can answer student's questions in class, instead of other, bigger schools where one would have to go to office hours to have questions answered. Tutors are also available at the Educational Resource Center and specific tutors are assigned to certain subjects. At Pacific you can talk to a teacher before or after class or at office hours. Failing all that you can make an appointment with them as well. The classes are really good here. All the teachers are very knowledgeable about their subject and excited to teach students about what they know. It's great knowing that I will learn something every day I go to class.
Hillary from Alameda, CA
My IB Biology teacher studied here.
Danielle from Stockton, CA
I am a bioengineer pursuing a focus in medicine. Although every school has its few rotten apples when it comes to professors, UOP has remarkable professors who dedicate their time to helping you understand the material. The small class sizes allow you to get on a first name bases with the professor and the students. The courses are tough, specially the science ones, but you will be much better prepared for the real world and graduate school.
Diana from Live Oak, CA
I am a Computer Science (BS) undergraduate student and I love Pacific! I've always been interested in Video Game Simulation and Development but I was worried that with no experience I would be unable to pursue it. It turned out that Pacific was a great way for me to get started. Professors are very helpful and there are so many tutoring resources that you can seek out.
