Overview
St. Philip's College is a public community college located in San Antonio, Texas, with an open admissions policy. SPC is an HBCU and an Hispanic-Serving Institution, the only college to be federally recognized as such. They offer associate’s degrees as well as certificates that can be completed in one year. By partnering with a number of associations, credits from St. Philip’s can be transferred to 4-year institutions nationwide. SPC also offers entire programs online through the Center for Distance Learning.

At this college the teachers are real nice and they will work with you on what ever it is you need. They are easy to obtain information from and you will learn a lot because they will do anything for you to understand. Of course not all of the teachers here will do this but most of them will.

St. Philip's community college is a great school to attend your first two years of college. The staff and teachers really care about the students and will do everything they can to help you be successful. I'm so glad chose to attend St. Philip's college before going straight to a a university.
