I have been attending since last spring and St. Philip's has overexceeded my expectations. The instructors are great and make themselves available for students. They offer some of the best degree programs for the medical field, which is my major.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
My original plan was to go to St. Philip's and take all my pre-quisites and transfer, but after attending three semesters, I have decided to stay there and get my associates. If you are going into the medical field, they have one of the best nursing programs and other great degree programs to prepare you for the medical field. All the staff are very helpful and want you to succeed, but of course it is all up to you.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
The food served at the cafeteria is always good and fresh, and I guess it is tied in with having the best culinary schools.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
Fun depemds on what your interest are, but the staff is consistantly sending emails on activities going on around campus.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
You cannot compare the tuition fees to a university when it comes to getting a two year degree, it is about one-fourth the price.
