Overview

South Suburban College is a 2-year community college with two campuses offering classes in 16 academic departments. SSC recognizes outstanding students with admission to its Honors Program as well as naming them to its Dean’s List and as Presidential Scholars. The college also allows students to resolve academic disputes via its Student Grade Appeal Process. In order to give all district residents a sample of higher education, SSC provides a free class waiver for all students who have never taken a South Suburban course.
