Overview

Established in 1953, Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is a private, 2-year institution located on two campuses in Media and Philadelphia. PIT offers 17 associate degree programs and three certificate programs, primarily in career-oriented fields of study, including many programs with fully-online and hybrid course options available. PIT values experiential learning, giving students on both campuses the opportunity for hands-on work in state-of-the-art labs. The college provides free peer and professional tutoring sessions, which can be attended by appointment or walk-in as frequently as students need.
