Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

NSU is a nice school where you feel safe.
Tayla from Tulsa, OK
NSU is a great college to be at. The classes are small, so there is a more student-teacher connection than most colleges can provide. The campus is small, but it promotes student connections.
Benjamn from Haileyville, OK
N.S.U. is an affordable college that has some great teachers in the English and Linguistics departments. They also have tons of clubs, ranging from the every day fraternities and sororities to the NEWTS (Northeastern Wizards Teaching Service) club that focuses on charity fundraising! There are many opportunities to become a stronger, better you at N.S.U!
Teshia from Tahlequah, OK
I rate it high. I like that the campus is pretty close together. The cafeteria is awesome.
Kimberly from Tahlequah, OK
Just pay attention. Plus tutors are avaliable for free.
Jamie from Talequah, OK
This school is like a family, the administration, professors and students are so helpful to incoming freshman. I have felt so welcome and had alot of help in finding my way. I play football and my time is taken up with alot of practice, the coaches and upper classman have been a big part of my doing well here. I love it!
James from Tulsa, OK
I am currently taking American Indian Studies and Cherokee language classes. There are ample resources here for people who want to learn and study the Cherokee language.
Jaime from Locust Grove, OK
The Campus is GREAT
