Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. The class sizes are very small so you get a lot of one on one time with the professors. They have plenty open offices hours for you to visit if you need help.
Quaprice from Wichita, KS
Friends University is unique in that it is a small university founded by Quakers and known for its Zoo Science and Ballet degree programs. The campus is beautiful and there is always something to do on campus because it values building community between students and faculty. At Friends University we are more than friends, we are family.
