Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

Being at Angelo State University I have learned the true meaning of diversity. Though it is a small school it's diversity is what makes it so great. I have learned that diversity is not just having class with different ethnicities but also accepting their culture and admiring their traditions.
Vanessa Ramirez
So far, Angelo State has taught me a lot as well as enhanced knowledge that I already knew from high school. I found that the Science courses were somewhat difficult but the professors are understanding and will help you when you need it.
Aeriel from Buda, TX
Angelo State University is a safe and fun enviorment for new freshman. All classes are close and easy to understand. Everyone you meet is super nice and very friendly.
Susan from Wichita Falls, TX
As a an incoming freshmen, I was very nervous on how I would be able to handle the transition from high school to college. I was amazed by how much the professors would help you. The size of the school makes it easy for the professor to work with you throughout the entire without sacrificing the the quality of education. I'm learning the material as well as other skills I can use through life including time management, sociability, and understanding other's culture and traditions.
Mario from San Angelo, TX
I am learning so much not only with the teachers I have but with the numerous tutoring services offered here. Each teacher has office hours plus they refer me to other teachers if they think I need more help.
Christina from Odessa, TX
Angelo State University is absolutely amazing! It is a place you can call home without hesitation. ASU is for sure, a five star school to me.
Alejandro from Mabank, TX
I am currently an Art Major, and of course everyone has to cover basic classes as well as your major concentration areas as well. I would have to say that the classes I've taken outside of my concentration area are really great. If your not that into math or science, they offer Intro to Business math which is WAY easy and the professor is a really funny guy, or they offer Astronomy, which is held in the Planetarium! So overall, in or out of your concentration area, your going to get a great experience in all of the different major departments.
Valerie from Brownwood, TX
The academic side to this campus so far is great, the books they use are informational and most professors and tutors make sure you actually learn what is being taught and anything else you might need to help you in the future.
Aniece from Killeen, TX
