Washington and Lee University is a liberal arts university located in Lexington, VA, along the Shenandoah River and surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Allegheny Mountains. W&L's motto is "Non Incautus Futuri," which means "not unmindful of the future" and it underlies the 37 major programs the school provides. The Williams School of Commerce, Economics, and Politics at Washington and Lee is the first college of commerce at a liberal arts institution to receive a national accreditation.
