Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

Virginia Union University is a very small school. That's a plus when in the classroom because you work close with your professors. You get more out of your learning my classroom.
Cherrelle from Englewood, NJ
Learning wise depending on you major Virginia Union has a lot to offer you have small class sizes and your professors are more than willing to always lend a helping hand
Jean from Irvington, NJ
there rate will be an A and from a scale from 1-10 will give the school a 9.5
Arthur from Tampa, FL
Most of the teachers are really helpful, and they try to make sure that you have everything you need to be successful in their classes. Since the classes are smaller, the teachers have the ability to know you on a personal level, and that helps when it comes to extra credit
DeJamine from Charlotte, NC
You'll definitely fall in love with the campus. full of adventure & activities. I would love to encourage more people to enroll
