Overview
Founded in 1867, Morgan State University is an Historically Black College and University in Baltimore and Maryland’s preeminent public urban research institution. A member of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Morgan State offers degrees in more than 100 academic programs. For students interested in music performance, MSU’s university choir annually performs with more orchestras than any other university-level chorus. Additionally, the Morgan State campus has been designated a National Treasure by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
