The campus features an Academic Village for students who want to immerse themselves in academic and cultural topics of interest. Students can also immerse themselves in cultures worldwide by taking advantage of the study abroad programs through PittGlobal, which range from two week stints to the entire academic year. It is a small campus, so there is no worrying about leaving an hour before your class to make it on time. It is easy to get to know the professor(s) of your major. The classes are not overly huge, they are conducted in a normal classroom, not a giant auditorium.
