Overview
Southwestern Michigan College is a 2-year community college featuring over 40 degrees and certificates, as well as an honors program. In addition, SMC partners with Ferris State University to provide an opportunity to earn six bachelor’s degrees on its Dowagiac campus. Students who wish to live on campus can utilize SMC’s residence hall suites, which provide private bedrooms for every tenant.

Its a great place for kids fresh out of high school to come and learn and make great friends in the process. There are also people that came back to school due to growing families loss of jobs etc. to get a degree here. Overall its a truly great college!
