Skagit Valley College is a 2-year community college in the northwest corner of Washington state. SVC offers degrees and certificates in over 30 fields of study as well as courses in basic education for adults. Several SVC classes are Learning Communities where faculty members from two departments will pair up to team-teach the course topic. It’s also home to the SVC Art Gallery, which exhibits contemporary artwork by local and international artists and is open to the public afternoons from Monday through Thursday.
