Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

The classroom sizes for all the classes I took had at most 20 students in them at one time. The smaller sized classes really helped me learn more and connect with my proffesors more too.
Derek from Forsyth, MT
Classroom sizes are small and manageable. This enables professors to take advantage of one-on-one learning. There are many resources around campus which help when having difficulty in a class. Professors are patient when a student does not understand a concept and are therefore willing to work with the student outside of class. I was able to connect and create a relationship with my professors and also the other students in my classes.
Jamee from Sheridan, WY
