Overview
Established in 1975, Mountwest Community and Technical College is a public, 2-year institution located in Huntington, West Virginia. MCTC offers over 50 liberal arts, career-technical, and non-traditional degree options, with programs awarding certificates and associate’s degrees throughout 13 fields of study. The college is also home to the Mountwest Maritime Academy, which provides US Coast Guard approved training for the River Towing Industry. MCTC maintains articulation agreements with Marshall University and Ohio University.
