Mayville State University is a 4-year public school and a member of the North Dakota State University system. MSU prepares future educators through its 11 teaching majors in subjects such as History, Psychology, and English Education. Outside of the classroom, students at MSU participate in organizations such as Comet Radio, the college’s streaming internet station. In addition, Mayville State offers numerous intramural sports leagues including flag football and dodgeball.
