Founded by The Congregation of Christian Brothers, Iona College is a Catholic school in the New York City metro area. Iona confers bachelor’s degrees in over 40 academic fields of study and the college also offers 5-year dual degree majors. As a Catholic college, Iona celebrates weekday mass at Blessed Edmund Rice Chapel and Sunday mass at Holy Family Church. There are a wide variety of classes and generally multiple sections of classes. It is easy to cater your schedule t take classes that interest you along with a teacher that best fits you. You may end up with the one class with the one teacher you don't want to have, but such is the story of every college.

The teachers at this school are great. They are extremely helpful and will spend time with their students to provide help. The teachers know their material and answer the majority of the questions that students ask. The teachers do not want the students to fail so they willingly help. The classes are small, just like high school classes. So the teacher will have more time to focus on you.
