Overview

With campus overlooking the Thames River and Long Island Sound, Connecticut College is a 4-year liberal arts college in southeast Connecticut. Connecticut grants bachelor’s degrees in 70 academic fields of study and students also have the opportunity to design their own major. Additionally, Connecticut’s Connections curriculum challenges students to create their own educational pathway over four years integrating classes, internships, and study abroad opportunities. The college also runs on a policy of shared governance enabling students to serve on committees overseeing budget allocation and sustainability.
