What Students Are Saying

It's good but can become repetitive
Caleb from Hickory, NC
It is a small campus so there isn't much options between classes. Lillington is not far at all from campus though so there are more options when you have more time to eat. All the places right on on off campus have extremely friendly employees. Great atmosphere.
Alex from Benson, NC
There are many places to eat and most of them take meal plan. Papa johns is the only one that doesn't take meal plan.
There is a Mexican place that is good depending on who is working. There is a burger place that is very busy at lunch since it began taking meal plan. There is a sandwich place that is like Subway.
There are 2 cafeterias one is dine in an the other take out. Breakfast is the great. Lunch and dinner at Marshbanks (dine in) is most of the time the same except for the home cooking which changes. There isn't a lot of variety.

More healthier options are gaining ground at Marshbanks.
There is ample seating everywhere.

There are also 2 mini grocery stores on campus, but they are about double what you would pay at a regular store.

There are many places to eat on campus. With your meal plan, you get a certain amount of meals and camel bucks. Camel bucks can be used at Papa Johns, Quiznos, the Burger Studio, and Chick fa la on campus. Marshbanks and Shouse use the meals off of the meal plan.
Troy from Fayetteville, NC
I'm not real thrilled with the food, but that's just me! I like to eat home-cooked foods but Marshbanks, the main dining hall, it a bit of a hike from my dorm. There are several smaller fast food type places and I enjoy those on occasion. I love having a Chick-Fil-A on campus and a Starbucks! Yummy!
Layne from Bear Creek, NC
There are so many food options on campus, however I would not recommend the cafeteria.
