Overview
Bergen Community College is a public, 2-year institution located primarily in Paramus, New Jersey. The college also maintains a number of satellite locations throughout the region in Hackensack and Lyndhurst. Students attending BCC have the opportunity to join Learning Communities when they register for classes, which pair courses together in a semester to foster a common basis of study between peers and faculty members. The main campus is home to a variety of facilities for student use, such as the Emil Buehler Trust Observatory, the Gallery Bergen, and the Women’s Institute.

BCC is one of my best choices i ever made. I am going for general classes than transfer to other school. is cheaper that way cause im only spending 1500 for all my general than spending 8000 just for my general classes in the school I want to go. other than that, the classes is the same like any other college or university. but probably i will change my major and finish in BCC. cause in my situation i can only afford for this college and the habitat is great :)

bergen community college campus in paramus, nj is beautiful! not only that but the teachers are great at explaining the curriculum. also the student center is a great place to sit and study, a nice learning atmosphere.

A lot of people I know think that a community college will give you an inferior education, as opposed to a 4 year institution. This past semester I took an Introduction to Human Services class and I learned so many new things. A friend of mine at a private college in Massachusetts was taking a similar class and I knew everything she was talking about, because Bergen had already taught it to me.
