I have learned so much in my first three semesters here. The classes are generally small, so there is great professor/student ratio's. They are amusing and easy to get along with and are always willing to help. And the Learning Resource Center is always available if you are ever in need of extra assistance.

The staff is very open minded, and willing to help in anyway they can. I have never felt more comfortable in a class setting than I do at York. The campus overall is just beautiful: the scenery and the fountain in the middle of the campus really adds on to its beauty

It is a reasonably priced privite school. It has many opportunties to have fun, advance your career, and knowledge while attending. I would reccomend this school to anyone looking for a degree in science.

York is known for their Nursing program. I mainly came here because of that. I know that York isn't known for most other programs and they do not have some of the strongest programs out there. As far as nursing and engineering go, this is where to attend. If you want a good, in depth education to prepare you for working in a hospital, this is where you want to go.

With the core classes, York offers you an opportunity to try new things and offers a wide variety of all types of classes. For the classes required for a major there are plenty of advisors you can go talk to with any questions and get the most out of your education.

My favorite thing about York College is how it provides a personalized education with its smaller class sizes - and also tons of hands-on learning experiences. Because there are over a hundred clubs and organizations to get involved in, it's really easy to meet friends and stay busy. A great learning environment, friendly community, and an involved campus, all come together to give me a really awesome home away from home!
