Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
(amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
+ amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
+ amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. The staff is very open minded, and willing to help in anyway they can. I have never felt more comfortable in a class setting than I do at York. The campus overall is just beautiful: the scenery and the fountain in the middle of the campus really adds on to its beauty

My favorite thing about York College is how it provides a personalized education with its smaller class sizes - and also tons of hands-on learning experiences. Because there are over a hundred clubs and organizations to get involved in, it's really easy to meet friends and stay busy. A great learning environment, friendly community, and an involved campus, all come together to give me a really awesome home away from home!

York College is the perfect mix of having a small enough population that you will see familiar faces and feel like you are a part of the community, but a large enough population that there are always new people to meet. I believe my decision to attend York College has been vital to my successes during my freshman year of college. York is my second home.
