Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

I am a health science major and are taking core classes and some science classes. WJU has a set of core classes that every student has to take. For example, psychology, philosophy, religion, history, math, and science.
Kristen from North Olmsted, OH
Wheeling Jesuit is a wonderful institution that offers a variety of possibilities for shaping ones future. Small class sizes offer a more personalized learning experience. Likewise, the staff is pleasent and willing to help.
Anthony
The environment is great, with a small classroom atmosphere. Most of the students are very involved and the professors are interested in the success and well-being of the students. Financial aid is given to almost all students, but the school is still expensive and academically challenging.
Kyle from Barnesville, OH
Wheeling Jesuit University is a very nice, small, friendly school. The atmosphere here is incredible, and the people are great! Teachers are very willing to help you out!
Brittany from Madison, OH
It is the most amazing school ever! The professors truly care about you and do everything they can to help you. Everyone is like a giant family, so your college experience will be the best years of your life!!!
Ashtyne from Keyser, WV
it's a great school with many oppurtunities. a close enviroment, where teachers care about your success. you find many chances to do well in your college life.
Alison from Daniels, WV
WJU is a small University (not a college) that is extremely focused on sports, having almost every student involved in one, but that still is demanding enough to give you the feel of decent academic standards. Depending on where you are living life could be quite different nevertheless the cafeteria is usually criticized (most of times it is unfairly done), and the campus is pretty great in general. The main issues with WJU are that there is nothing to do in Wheeling (has kind of the look of an abandoned city sometimes), that because it is too small it is easy to get tired of hanging out with the same people (the feel of a high school), and that the university cares mostly about incoming students more than the already enrolled ones.
International Student from Venezuela
I can not wait to start going to Wheeling Jesuit University! The campus and student body there are so welcoming. It truly is a place to call home.
Noah from Wheeling, WV
