Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

West Virginia Wesleyan's professors, at least the ones I have taken classes from, are extremely knowledgeable on their subjects that they teach and extremely helpful. The course materials used appertain to the classes significantly.
Lyndsey from Clendenin, WV
I think that Wesleyan is a very good school based on academics. The professors here really want their students to learn and are willing to help in any way they can. They know each of their students by name and are concerned about you and how you are doing. I am learning a lot, and enjoying it too.
Courtney from Weston, WV
