Overview

In the prairie town of Snyder lies Western Texas College, a 2-year community college serving ten surrounding counties. While most classes take place in the main campus facility, there are two additional locations in town specializing in adult and continuing education, as well as workforce training. WTC’s campus includes the nine hole Sammy Baugh golf course, named for a west Texas football legend from the early NFL days, which is maintained by students enrolled in the school’s Golf Course and Landscape Technology department.
