Surrounded by the Rio Grande Valley and Manzano Mountains, The University of New Mexico in Valencia county is a regional campus of the UNM system in central New Mexico. UNM-Valencia offers degrees and certificates in 30 academic subjects. Additionally, UNM-Valencia partners with New Mexico State University to enable students to earn an associate degree in General Science and transfer to NMSU to complete a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture. Throughout the year, UNM-Valencia’s Cultural Series hosts a number of art exhibits, lectures, and theatrical performances open to the community.
