Overview

Founded in 1967, Valencia College is a 2-year community college with eight campuses in the Orlando metro area. On top of offering more than 120 associate degree-granting programs, Valencia confers five bachelor’s degrees in Nursing, Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, Business, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, and Radiologic Sciences. They offer unique Flex Start classes to accommodate working students and won the inaugural Aspen Prize in 2011 for Community College Excellence. Valencia’s Fire Science Technology program partners with fire agencies in the central Florida region to oversee the college’s Fire Rescue Training Facility.
