Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. My major is Elementary Education and thus far i have been enjoying every little minute of it. I have learn a lot about my major and i can not wait to return to Bethune Cookman to learn even more. Cookman has so many Majors that stand out but to me the Education Department is where to be!
Johnua from Jacksonville, FL
Bethune Cookman is a great institution. i have learned a lot in my previous year there. The university is filled with professors and advisor who want to see you succeed. There are many resources available for students if they need help with anything rather it academic or financial. The campus size isn't too big so finding the help isn't a huge issue, everything that you need seems like a few feet away.
Phillip from Jacksonville , FL
I feel like if I go to Bethune-cookman university I would learn so much and the major I want to attend is criminal justice...
Steve from Miami, FL
bethune-cookman is an institution that is highly recommended for students that are wanting a second chance. if an individual has a low gpa, bethune-cookman university is a place that will still accept students, just so they have a chance at higher education. lastly, the faculty, staff, and teachers of bethune-cookman are very great, respectable, and helpful to those who need it the most.
Sharlatay from Miami, FL
Bethune-Cookman is the best expereince anyone ever get. There many different events and activies that is so involved with the school. And the best thing its a HBCU that could never be any better for any student to be in a such diverse school even though it's Historically Black.
ka'Ren from Overland Park, KS
I am truly learning a lot a Bethune Cookman University. Although it only my first year I have truly enjoyed the history about the school itself. In addition the teachers are truly there for you, they want you to succeed, with that kind of support it is impossible to fail. For every course there are tutors for those who struggle with a subject. There truly is no reason to fail if the focus is there. I am a Nursing major and am ready to get started with the state of the art nursing program they have.
Gevette from Hialeah, FL
Bethune will have great professors to teach and explain clearly enough so I can understand what it is exactly they are trying to exp.lain
Lakieshia from Dade City, FL

Soon as you step on campus and see the buildings you'll fall in love. The grass is well taken care of, very green and healthy looking. Smiling faces and friend people just waiting to greet each other.
Darnell from Petersburg, VA
