Overview
Sanford Medical Center is a private, 2-year institution with education centers located in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. Sanford Health offers nine internship programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as several research opportunities for students and continuing education, training, and residency programs for medical professionals. Along with its higher education programs, the institution provides several educational programs for K-12 students, including the HOPE Camp program, tours of the medical centers, and the Sanford Program for the Midwest Initiative in Science Exploration. Sanford Health also maintains a wide variety of community and academic initiatives such as the Sanford World Clinic and the Sanford Children's Genomic Medicine Consortium.
