Read What Students Are SayingNo matter what school you choose be sure to get involved in some way, it makes college much more enjoyable and Murray is a great place to get involved.
Kayley from Morganfield, KY
I am studying spanish here at Murray State and have learned more about the language in the one class that I have taken so far than four years combined in high school.
Katherine from Murray, KY
i live 5.5-7 hours from murray, depending on the route. homesickness is really hard for me. but involving myself in things like the equestrian program, intramural sports and dorm activities has really helped me adjust. i truly love murray state, but because i am from a large city the town of murray is just too small for me.
Jenn from Murray, KY
Because Murray State isn’t a huge campus, many of the classes are not over thirty students. The science lectures, however, consist of many a hundred students, but the professors make themselves available if help is needed. Also, the teaching skills of the professors and excellent, and they make sure that all material covered is understood.
Caroline from Lincoln, NE
The classes are fun, but most are not challenging enough.
Corinne from Saint Louis, MO
All of my classes this semester were really great. The teachers really seem to know what they are talking about and care about how you do in their class. You aren't just a number and they want you to do well.
Bayly from Murray, KY
The faculty are fantastic here. They really care about you and care to not only just know your name but to get to know you as well. You get the college course education with the cozy feeling of a high school classroom
Donald from Paducah, KY
murray state is possibly the best thing to happen to me in my life. murray state is the perfect fit for someone looking for a college big enough but not too big. murray state is an astounding university that looks out and provides opportunity for its students.
grant from dawson springs, ky
The teachers here are all well experienced in their fields. They know how to give you good hands on experience that you can later use in your own field. You may even walk away with something to show an employer.
Lace from Murray,KY
I'm learning a lot here at Murray State and not just book smarts either. At Murray you learn a lot though not only though you what your books teach, but though your teachers and their experience around the world. Murray is known for sending both students and teachers around the world to gain experiences. For the teaches it gives them even more experiences so that they are able to come back and teach even more efficiently.
Murray is just all around one of the best places to come if you are looking for both knowledge and a place where you cant wait for the next class to come. =)
