Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. I'm a nursing major at MSMC and the first year was SO difficult. I had to learn how to manage my time really efficiently to get everything done. The more I studied, the more I realized how much I was actually learning unlike high school. The information actually stuck with me since my teachers actually wanted to teach and that made me want to learn.
Ashley from Washingtonville, NY
Mount Saint Mary is a college that allows its students to be comfortable in their own skin. With its assortment of clubs, sports, and intramural activities, there's a place for everyone. Its environment took away any nerves that I still had about college.
Alexander from Madison, NJ
A small catholic college located on the beautiful Hudson River. The college is located in Newburgh in the mid-Hudson Valley region of New York State. It was founded in 1960 by the Dominican Sisters. The campus gives you a feeling like a fairly close school community.
Michael Morano
Mount St Mary College has a wonderful Nursing program available to prospective students. The college campus is breathtakingly beautiful and over looks the Hudson River. Mount St Mary provides a great education to prepare students for their futures in their career paths.
Stephanie from Greenville, NY
The Mount is the place to be for students eager to expand their knowledge in open and small orientated classrooms. Where you are given the chance to actually connect and receive a well rounded relationship with your professors and the campus as well. Mount St. Mary's College is just an incredible place to find yourself in a spiritual, personal, and educational level with a great back bone of faculty , student programs , and many other resources.
Viviana from Los Angeles, CA
