Overview
The Mercer County Technical Education Center is a trade school in southeastern West Virginia. MCTEC offers degrees and certificates in 22 vocational fields of study as well as four programs for adult students. To accompany its academic offerings, MCTEC participates in the Simulated Workplace program and provides a workplace laboratory environment for all students to learn lessons in safety, teamwork, and customer service. MCTEC is also home to chapters of several professional student organizations including Future Educators Association and Future Farmers of America.
