Overview
Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport is a medical school in northwest Louisiana. LSU Health is home to Schools of Medicine, Allied Health Professions, and Graduate Studies featuring courses from 31 health science-related academic departments. To supplement the school’s academic instruction, LSU Health offers clinical experience in four area hospitals. Additionally, LSU Health partners with other universities in the Louisiana State system to offer MD/PhD and Master of Public Health programs.
