Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. I am finding that I learn more here than when I was in high school. While in high school so many of your peers don't want to be in school, therefore they disrupt and cause distractions. Here at Jones the atmosphere is different. Majority of Professors understand the need to be open with their students on a personal level in order to spark enthusiasm in learning about the given topic. This ability allows for a better overall college experience. I hope to see those of you applying in the fall. Good Luck.
Will from Petal, MS
So far my Criminal Justice teacher is awesome. He has been in law enforcement for over 20 years. All the instructors have enough experience to know what he/she is talking about. My Spanish 1 teacher's native language is actually Spanish.
Stephen from Ovett, MS
The campus of JCJC is a family-like atmosphere. Instructors are knowledgeable and willing to assist students when needed. JCJC is one of the best junior college campuses located in the state of Mississippi.
Shamia from Jackson, MS
JCJC was a great experience and had wonderful well qualified teachers. The atmosphere is great, and the college is expanding with new buildings and opportunities every day. Jones is an amazing place to meet other students because everyone is close/friends there.
Keri from Mize, MS
Jones is a very beautiful and organized campus. Anyone would be lucky to be affiliated with such a brilliant school. The memories I made at the school will live forever.
Michelle from Mobile, AL
