East Texas Baptist University is a private, Christian institution established in the city of Marshall and featuring 8 schools that offer 43 undergraduate majors. Full-time students at ETBU are required to attend 22 scheduled chapels each semester, honoring the school’s commitment to Christ. The Great Commission Center located on campus provides a number of service opportunities to students and faculty, including community outreach programs, and both short or long-term missions abroad.
